This Privacy Policy explains how Npcat LLC ("Npcat," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal data collected through our corporate website at npcat.co (the "Site"). It applies to visitors to the Site only.
Our products are governed by their own privacy policies. If you use Polyads, the processing of your account and product data is described in the Polyads Privacy Policy, not this document.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Npcat LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can reach us about privacy at hi@npcat.co.
2. Information we collect
We keep data collection through the Site to a minimum.
- Information you send us. When you email us (for example, at hi@npcat.co) we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the contents of your message.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is used to serve the Site securely and reliably.
The Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not build marketing profiles about you.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and in responding to your messages, on your consent where we ask for it, and on the need to comply with a legal obligation.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and our email – for example, hosting and email providers – and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above – for example, we keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain our business records – and then delete or anonymize it.
7. International transfers
We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email hi@npcat.co. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
